Stand Out From the Crowd
An Invitation to Engage
If you are like me, you are very concerned over the actions of our leaders in the recent past. You see a real threat to our constitution, democracy, and our economic stability. You are grieving for all we have lost as a nation and want us to return to a point where we can further build on past efforts to promote fairness, justice, compassion, innovation, and civility toward others.
What has been most disturbing is the ignorance about politics, citizenship, workforce readiness, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility. What can be done about these amorphous problems? How do we support other groups tackling these demoralizing issues? The work ahead is over whelming and seemingly outside our expertise in workforce development.
What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make. Jane Goodall
None the less, I’ve chosen not to be silent but to search for ways to build competence in people as global citizens by leveraging my reputation and expertise in workforce development through credentialing. I am willing to lead an effort to develop workforce credentials to include competence in social and economic resilience. I want to engage a team that collectively brings a shared vision, complementary skills, and a passion for social responsibility through workforce credentialing.
To this end, I have established the Hale Associates Center to fight institutionalized ignorance; promote competence; and build social, environmental, and economic resiliency.
Be a nuisance where it counts. Do your part to inform and stimulate the pubic to join your action. Be depressed, discouraged, and disappointed at failure and the disheartening effect of ignorance, greed, corruption, and bad politics – but never give up. Marjory Stoneman Douglas
I am asking you to join a team brave and visionary enough to take on institutionalized ignorance. Together we can create a sustainable strategy. Let’s restore fairness, innovation, and compassion in our workforces.
Failure means the loss of a world we are proud of; a very dangerous world for our children and grandchildren. Success means an open society that exemplifies fairness, justice, compassion, innovation, and civility.
Please contact me if you are interesting if joining me in this effort.
