 THRIVE: overview

How to Thrive in the Gig Economy

Going Solo?  Freelancing? Contracting?

This Overview will introduce you to the new THRIVE! online program scheduled to start in June.   The online program is for people who want to start their own practice, are freelancing, and do contract work.  Whether you find yourself working independently by design or by necessity, you will find the information and tools helpful.  The program facilitators are Judith Hale, a successful independent consultant for more than 40 years and Nancy Burns, former professor of Entrepreneurial studies and now starting her own consulting firm.  There are two options for attending.  Option 1 meets on Monday evenings, June 8, 15, and 22 from 5 to 9 PM CDT.  Option 2 meets on Tuesday evenings, June 9, 16, and 23 from 6:30 to 10:30 PM CDT.

The benefits to participating in the program are:

  • Confidence in your value proposition
  • A proven road map to avoid time and money wasters
  • Comfort knowing you have the basis covered
  • Access to knowledgeable and proven mentors
  • CEUs and PDUs for your PMP and CPT
