Project-based Credentialing Practicum

1.5 hour virtual kick-off to multi-month project

This first meeting will prepare you to design your own assessment or credentialing project that showcases your skills.  You will submit this project as performance evidence when applying for your Certified Assessment and Credentialing Professional (CACP) credentials. 

You will have the opportunity to design and execute a project-based assignment during which you:
  • Apply the principles, rules, and guidelines to a new or existing credential or assessment strategy.
  • Get professional coaching along the way.
  • Submit your program for peer review against three standards:
    • Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE) National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) Standards
    • American National Standards Institute (ANSI) 17024 Standards for Certifying Agencies
    • International Society for Performance Improvement’s (ISPI) Program accreditation standards. 
      •  Convene TIfPI practice leaders
      • Make a global judgment of ~ work samples
      • Discuss rationale in terms of competencies
      • Identify properties that represent 3 of the 5 stages in the quality metrics.
This practicum includes up to three one-hour coaching sessions on dates and times of your choosing.
